„The house is clean and spacious Comes with everything Stayed during a severe storm which took out the hydro but the owner had someone there to check but it was the local hydro who were quick to fix in the morning Other than that the stay is wonderful Must visit the Rusty Mackerel and the cliffs close by “

„Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Ferienwohnung ist groß, hat aber ihre besten Tage hinter sich. Das Bad entspricht nicht dem deutschen Standard, die Küche ist groß und man findet alles, was man benötigt, allerdings hier und da auch ein wenig schmuddelig. Die Betten waren bequem. Die Wohnung liegt an der Durchfahrtsstraße des Ortes. Das Schlafzimmer nach hinten raus war sehr ruhig, das vordere durch den Straßenverkehr recht laut. Dunkineely liegt ...

„We wanted our family trip to Ireland to be one to remember. In researching each of the areas we wanted to visit, we found Donegal Town and this property the perfect choice. It was centrally located to everything and the accommodations were absolutely wonderful! Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out.... and the well appointed laundry room was an added bonus at the end of week 1. We would definitely stay here again!!!“

„Het is een groot, ruim verblijf met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Deze zijn gelegen op de laagste verdieping. Allemaal zeer ruim. De keuken en woonkamer zijn op de bovenverdieping. Het is vrij gehorig, er is geen tuin en er is wat achterstallig onderhoud. “

„Bill and I spent another incredible two weeks at Hilltown. The family connection is so important to us! We enjoyed walking the strands with old and new friends, meeting up for lunch dates with Bill’s cousin, visiting other cousins and friends! Our friends, who traveled with us,thouroghly enjoyed the comforts afforded at Hilltown, the beauty of the country-side and exploring what Donegal has to offer. We are already looking forward to planning another visit back to Ireland!“

„We are a family of six, four children and myself and husband. This Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely beautiful and I fell in love with how traditional it is. My children had plenty of fun out back in the huge garden. Most evenings we had a fire blazing in the living room. While we played board games and playing cards. „Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen, insbesondere der Meerblick. Die Dusche müsste mal überprüft werden, an der Badewanne fehlte die Dusche. Ansonsten hat uns die Unterkunft aber sehr gut gefallen, wir kommen wieder. “

"The location and the view from the room was fantastic and the main reason for booking. The beach is really close and you can hear the sea. Qualtiy of food was very good and the prices reasonable. Staff at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Sleeping was very comfortable. The hotel is a little bit old and you see it, especially in the outdated bathroom. All this is OK and would get a rating of 4 stars or better. Not OK were too many unclean areas! Sand so close at the sea would be OK, but dust and spider webs, not properly cleaned bathrooms and dirt as well as not cleaned sitting areas outside (balcony) are not acceptable. Anyway we hope to come back, because we love the country."

"Magnifique endroit dans la verdure et le calme. Chambre et salle de bain très spacieuse et décoré avec classe. Très belle terrasse côté bar et restaurant avec vue sur le terrain de golf. Belle carte de menu et excellente cuisine. Un bel endroit pour un séjour prolongé et visiter la belle ville de Sligo. "

Joli cadre mais hôtel d’une autre époque

"Hôtel vieillot avec pas mal de choses à réparer ou nettoyer! Le petit déjeuner n’est vraiment pas terrible, rien de très bon et très peu de choix. La clientèle un samedi soir fut très bruyante jusqu’au milieu de la nuit, et avec des portes qui laissent passer tous les bruits nous avons mal dormi…. "
