Genießen Sie die Bücher, die Sauna und die Außendusche, die Badewanne mit Löwenfüßen, den Kamin und viele gemütliche Kissen und Überwürfe.

    Strecken Sie sich aus und machen Sie etwas Kreatives! Fügen Sie etwas an der Tafelwand hinzu oder schlendern Sie zum Hügel hinter der Hütte und skizzieren Sie die umliegenden Ausläufer. Mehrere Maler und Schriftsteller haben Fivespot bereits als persönlichen künstlerischen Rückzugsort genutzt.

    Es gibt Komfort und Bequemlichkeit: eine überdachte Steinterrasse, ein Gasgrill, eine Küche mit allem Zubehör und viel Platz im Freien, damit Sie drinnen oder draußen kochen und speisen können.

    Ganzjähriger Komfort und Spaß bei Fivespot:
    Der Sommer ist aus gutem Grund die Hochsaison in den Sierras: Die Sonne scheint von Juni bis Oktober. Wanderwege sind offen, wild lebende Tiere und Wildblumen gibt es zuhauf. Aber wir Einheimischen genießen Herbst, Winter und Frühling noch mehr: Sonne weicht Regen und Schnee, das Leben beruhigt sich, Zeit zum Ausruhen und Erneuern. Fivespot ist perfekt für einen Urlaub außerhalb der Saison. Die Straße zur Hütte ist schneefrei und die Straße in die Parks ist mit Allradantrieb oder Ketten befahrbar (wir können Ihnen dabei helfen). Der Kamin und die Sauna halten Sie gemütlich; Sie haben Zeit zum Nachdenken, Schreiben, Lesen oder Entspannen. Es ist eine wunderbare Zeit des Jahres - bitte überlegen Sie einen Besuch!

    Winteraktivitäten in und um Fivespot:
    Der Winter ist nie weit von Fivespot entfernt: Auf 4000 Metern Höhe gibt es jedes Jahr mindestens einen heftigen Sturm. Wenn Sie das Glück haben, im richtigen Moment hier zu sein, können Sie direkt vor der Hintertür einen Schneeschuh laufen. Die Hütte ist aber auch perfekt für nahezu bestimmte Wintererlebnisse gelegen - es ist nur eine 15-minütige Fahrt bis zum Eingang des Kings Canyon National Park, wo den ganzen Winter über Mammutbäume mit tiefem Schnee bedeckt sind. Und Fivespot liegt an einer gut ausgebauten Staatsstraße, sodass es einfach ist, hierher zu gelangen. Schneespiel, Schneeschuhwandern und Langlaufen sind die besten Winteraktivitäten dieser Parks.

Spacious 1 bedroom little house. Plenty of light and seating indoors and out. Very quiet & restful. Easy highway access. Excellent interaction with host. Lots of supplies available. Large restaurant within walking distance. Also plenty of helpful instructions given The heat sauna is lovely.

Our stay was very comfortable and a close location to both Sequioa and Kings Canyon National Parks. Mahalia was so very easy to communicate with, quick to respond and they provided excellent directions to reach their cabin. Everything was clean, good supplies for cooking, comfortable beds and seating and two great outdoor areas to sit and relax. Would stay here again!

Amazing spot!

The house was perfect! Kids loved the bunks and watching the turkeys outside. The sauna and claw foot tub were wonderful after long days of hiking. Would highly recommend staying here!

My host could not have been better. Super kind and thoughtful fromnthe day I arrived until after I departed. The cabin was wonderful, clean, and peaceful. Loved the stars, turkeys, and the proximity to Kings Canyon.

Incredible stay!

Everything about our stay here was fantastic. The location cannot be beat if you're looking to visit Kings Canyon or Sequoia. Beds were comfortable after long days of hiking! Incredible star gazing also! Will look forward coming back here!

The hostess greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had no questions. She was very helpful. The cabin was clean and very nicely decorated. The sauna and outdoor shower were wonderful, especially after coming back from the parks. We would stay there again in a heartbeat

Lovely Property!

We stayed here while visiting Kings Canyon & Sequoia -- the property is 15 minutes away from the entrance. We loved the decor of the home -- lots of great art and 2 nice patios. A plus is that the owners are onsite and easily accessible (but they're not intrusive).

Amazing and cute cabin!

Everything about this property was beyond expectations. From the friendliness and kindness of the host to the location being so close to King's Canyon and Sequoia National Park, to the adorable field of wildflowers, and cozy, clean, and adorable cabin. The fully functional kitchen, bathroom with clawfoot tub, and sauna were extra perks! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in nature.

Cozy Canin

This cabin is so cozy and homey. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils to cook easily. Mahalia was very responsive and helpful if there were any questions or concerns during our stay. The sauna was a nice added bonus as well as being able to walk out back and look up at the stars at night. We enjoyed the quiet, seclusion this cabin provided and had no issues getting to and from the national parks to explore during the day. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Cozy well kept up 1 bedroom in the woods. This place was a perfect little 1 bedroom, nice and clean. Very close to the entrance of the Sequoia/Kings Canyon Park. Loved the sauna after a long day hiking, and you can walk to the Pinehurst Lodge restaurant for some great burgers and cheesecake from the house. There were only 2 of us, but it would be great for a family of 4-5 people. Highly recommend.

Charming cabin in the forest!

Communication and instructions excellent from Mahalia. Cabin clean, well-stocked, very cozy and comfortable. Private and quiet. The swamp cooler worked amazingly well to keep things cool. No TV, but decent wifi. Great access to the parks. Thanks for access to washer and dryer! Would definitely stay again.

What a unique and fun and overall beautiful property. A perfect little house for a small family or couple just trying to get away. The back yard was filled with gorgeous wildflowers and splendid views. The perfect environment to start the day. The house is just a short drive to the National Parks allowing for very easy access to maximize time in those magical areas. The sauna was an added bonus after long days of hiking in the wilderness. Overall this is a very special and amazing place to stay. Would book this place again in a heartbeat.

This cabin was magical for me. It was so comfortable, peaceful, and unique. It has everything you can want in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was comfortable. We loved that you had extra fans and we used them. We loved all of the special artisan and craftsman touches. We spent time both on the front porch and the back porch. It was just serene. It was fairly close to the park entrances. The hosts were very approachable and friendly and helped when we needed them. I would love to come back.

Perfect cabin for Kings and Sequioa

We adored this cabin. The location to the parks was great and it was so quiet. We loved starting the day on the front porch watching the birds and animals. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING. The large iron clawed tub was amazing at the end of a day of hiking too. Plenty of room for my boyfriend and I, but definitely a lot of room for other people too. I can't speak highly enough of our experience at this property! Definitely follow the instructions of getting groceries before coming up the mountain though. The closest "grocery" is an overpriced mini mart with no fresh options. The included instructions tell you the best places to stop!

Great Sequoia/Kings Canyon retreat!

As advertised property! Family of five w/3 teen girls enjoyed this stay! Very clean and well stocked, thank you. Outdoor shower made getting cleaned up after a day of hiking a quicker process. Enjoyed the covered porch and patio morning and night! Was in the upper 80’s low 90’s and the Swamp Cooler had no problems making it feel great in the cabin!! Much wildlife around the cabin to watch. Would definitely recommend a stay!! Thanks Again!
