„Beautiful original log home. Deck built out on Cheat River for gorgeous views and wildlife. Wonderful fire pit area. Definite location! The home is well equipped with many hospitalities. Awesome hot tub all of property direct views of the river. Fishing was fabulous too!“

„The outside of the building didn’t look very welcoming when we pulled up, but the condo we stayed in was great. It was clean, well decorated and furnished for comfort. It offered the perfect home base from which to hike around the falls or explore the local shops in Davis and Thomas. The owners had left a little basket with coffees/teas and other little thoughtful touches. If we’re in the area, we’ll stay here again. “

„We enjoyed our stay and the comforts of the Fox Den! It was a great base camp for daily mountain adventures and we appreciated the cleanliness, the outdoor space and the fully equipped kitchen. The only downsides of our stay include the noise from the upstairs renters—we had a hard time sleeping because you could hear their every movement and it lasted into the early morning hours. „The cabin was private on a mountain side, beautiful views. Family of six, plenty of room for all of us. Great deck overlooking the valley below, hot tub and bathrooms were great. Would definitely stay there again. “

„We love this VRBO cabin so much that we’ve stayed multiple times. Its eclectic decor adds to the enjoyment of our stay. It has plenty of space for our family and is located near some of the most beautiful natural sites in the world. Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks, etc. The views from the cabin are perfect for watching deer, sunsets, and enjoying nature.“

„We had a fantastic stay during October 2024. The cabin suited our family of six with just enough utensils and bedding for us. The cabin was very comfortable, clean and had great amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to relax in the hot tub and the children really enjoyed the games room and pool at the lodge. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. „Property owner was awesome and very responsive. Check in was easy. Amenities because it was off season were not available. Cabin was well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Clean - however missing toilet paper - and getting anywhere off site takes more than a minute! Outside the house needs work.other than fire pit no place to sit outdoors . It was great and the price was right.“

„I needed a place for the weekend while volunteering at a event in Thomas. The location was convenient and the place was as advertised. Its small and great for one or a couple. Communication was great and efficient. “

„The property is very nice. It's apparent a lot of upgrades have been made and more to come. Heck, there's even tissues throughout the house which you don't find many places. The only pick I have is that steps leading down to the house were barely cleared of snow/ice and very difficult and dangerous to negotiate with suitcases. I shoveled them myself the next day.“

„To sum it up. The owners were absolutely the most accommodating pepole i encountered To add to that. The view is absolutely life changing. To wake up with mountains at your feet is insane. The fire pit. Yes. Cmon. Sunset with that view anddd a fire pit. Theres some great food at the Sports Inn and they were also clutch in our stayJust the combination of the view, the local trails, the food and the owners being the best. I mean the best ones ive ever seenThis was my favorite stay ever“
