„Chose to stay here for a birthday getaway for myself from the city. The place was great. Clean, comfortable, nice, quiet and peaceful. You can roam the property and collect some eggs from the chickens if you wish. Breakfast was provided for the first day. The owner, Elizabeth, did check in as there was a big storm, to make sure i was comfortable and warm enough, which was a nice thought. Definitely would come and stay again.“

„Werona Cottage was the most beautiful place to stay to wind down and relax after a difficult few months. The fit out and choice of fixtures is very considered. Everything is well thought out, classic, stylish and private. The location is perfect! Unfortunately the famous pub was closed for renovation. I would definitely recommend this beautifully equiped little cottage. I can't wait to stay again.“

„Overall, an okay little house. As other reviews state, both mattresses should be replaced. One is cheap and you feel the springs clearly, and the other is long in the tooth. Fridge had been replaced, but the old one bizarrely left on the deck next to the front door (!?). BBQ dirty on arrival. Didn't use it because of that. You get what you pay for with this one. Bird droppings all over the deck.“
