„Die Unterkunft an sich ist neu renoviert und war auch sauber. Das Frühstück war gut und es gab verschiedenes zur Auswahl. Ungünstig ist nur die Lage an einer viel befahrenen Landstraße. Da donnern schon sehr früh große LKW direkt vor der Unterkunft vorbei. Bei dem schlechten Straßenzustand ist das sehr laut.“

„We arrived at Hawk house and were greeted by a laminated sign that explained how to check in. We called the number, but there was no response. We called the bell (several times) and eventually a young lady came to check us in. She showed us to our room and was helpful. The room was a twin room (we had booked a double). „My stay at Glastonbury B&B was very pleasant. The house is in walking distance from the lovely town Glastonbury. The bedroom was very nice, sunny and cozy, and clean and so was the bathroom. In the room there was coffee, different kinds of tea, biscuit and a bottle of drinking water, which I appreciated. David is a very friendly host and made me feel welcomed. He even offered to drive me to the nearest train station, so I could travel onwards in the morning. Thank you very much, David!“

„Really nice staff, bar/lounge area and rooms. Ideal for a night or 2 if you are visiting the local area for sight seeing etc. Shepton mallet high street is about 10-15 minute walk away although it is uphill. Taxis where hard to get although could have just been the time of day on the weekend.“
