Located about 22 miles south of Los Angeles, Avalon is the island's primary town, offering shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Outside of Avalon, the rugged landscape is ideal for hiking and exploring under the stewardship of the Catalina Island Conservancy. Whether you prefer a relaxing day on the beach or an outdoor adventure, Catalina Island provides a variety of options. You can reach the island via a passenger ferry from Newport Beach, Dana Point, Long Beach, or San Pedro, and enjoy the island’s serene charm while being just a short distance from the mainland.

The guest has access to the entire condo, clubhouse with pool, exercise room and other activities.

Policies & What to Expect
Golf Cart Responsibility:
By signing the rental agreement, you accept full responsibility for the golf cart during your stay, including any damage, regardless of who causes it. The cart must be refueled, parked in its designated space, and covered at departure.
HOA Rules – Please Read Carefully:
• No day guests or visitors permitted at Hamilton Cove
• Maximum occupancy strictly enforced
• Drones are prohibited — $300 fine per violation
• Guests are responsible for any HOA fines incurred due to noncompliance

Arrival & Departure
• Check-in: 3:00 PM (4:00 PM from Memorial Day–Labor Day)
• Check-out: 11:00 AM
• Check-in times are strictly enforced. Arrival and departure instructions are provided via guest portal. We are also available after hours if needed.
Minimum Stay Requirements
• Off-season: 2–4 night minimum
• Summer (Memorial Day–Labor Day): 5-night minimum
• Holidays: 5-night minimum (varies by demand)
• No arrivals: July 4, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
Last-Minute Bookings
Bookings made within 72 hours of arrival require a phone check-in and ID verification through our secure guest portal. This portal also provides door codes, parking details, and checkout instructions.
Additional Policies
• Pets: Not permitted. Unauthorized animals incur a $500 fine (service animals exempt)
• Smoking: All properties are non-smoking
• Noise: Quiet hours after 9 PM; violations may result in fines or eviction
• Age Policy: Generally, no rentals to guests under 25 or large groups without prior approval
• Rates: Pricing fluctuates daily and may change at any time
After Booking
A rental agreement must be signed and payment completed before check-in details are released. Our team will contact you within 24 hours to confirm guest information and answer questions. IMPORTANT: All guest names are required before arrival, as this information is shared with the guard shack that will allow your entry.
Property Expectations
This is a professionally managed vacation rental, not a hotel. Guests are responsible for basic care of the home, including trash, checkout duties, and replacement of lost keys, fobs, or remotes. Furniture or décor may change; refunds are not issued for cosmetic updates.
Starter Kit Provided
A complimentary starter supply is included to help you settle in, such as paper goods, toiletries, linens, towels, kitchen essentials, laundry supplies, basic tools, and safety equipment.

A golf cart is provided for guests of this rental to use. Please report any issues immediately and remember to fill the gas tank before departing!
IMPORTANT: Your signature to the terms and conditions of our rental agreement is in agreement to be liable for any damage to the provided golf cart whether or not damage was created by you and / or anyone in your party. Additionally, the golf cart must be fueled up at the end of your stay, golf cart must be parked in designated spot, and cover put back on golf cart.
