But with a few issues: newly renovated, but unfinished; busy Street; TV did not stream properly; no view within walking distance (despite the listing); need to car or Uber/taxi everywhere - not walkable to waterfront. „This unit provided what we needed. Bed, bath, kitchen, laundry and living room. It’s quite comfortable. For us it was the perfect place to stay while touring this side of Newfoundland. It is a basement apartment so not the best if mobility issues are a concern as there are outside stairs to get to the unit. “

There are lots of hills to enjoy while walking the neighbourhood. The only negative that we had was the ceiling height of the hallway to the bathroom. It was very low. „Overall the stay was good. Our stay was during cold spell, in the living room/sun room area, the heat had been turned off so it was pretty cold the first night. There were no extra blankets to use to be able to sit in this room. The host did supply a blanket and a heater when I messaged him to inquire about the heat. There were a couple “ technical glitches” with some of the appliances but luckily I was capable and persistent and was able to make them work. Would I stay again, probably, ...
