"Lag direkt an der Ringstraße und unweit des Diamond Beach. Unterkunft ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, zudem riecht es im Gästehaus (Nebengebäude) stark nach Kanalisation. Die Zimmer sind mit mehr Betten ausgestattet als benötigt wurde, dadurch war kaum Platz vorhanden. Bad war sauber, aber nicht sehr schön."

"Große und saubere Zimmer. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl und war sehr lecker. Auch das Badezimmer hatte eine gute Größe und das war das erste Hotel während unseres Urlaubs, wo das Badezimmer beim Duschen trocken geblieben ist. Zimmer waren auf eine gute Temperatur vorgeheizt. Das Internet war allerdings wirklich schlecht und hat so gut wie gar nicht funktioniert, hier ist definitiv Verbesserungsbedarf. Die Matratzen passen nicht in den Bettrahmen und die Betten könnten etwas größer sein. Ich bin nachts fast runtergerollt."

"We had a room with view on a wall, shared bathroom and shower and for this we had to pay 200€ in May. The whole atmosphere of the room and the building was like an old hospital. Breakfast was ok. Only good thing was the lobby and the polite staff. It was by far the worst stay we had in Iceland and the worse value for money place. I note here that we stayed in other guesthouses thoughout our trip with shared bathrooms which were much better and cheeper."

"Overall not a pleasant stay, especially for the price paid. The room was basic and dated, neither the door lock nor the television were working (the latter seems to apply for every room as a note was left that although a screen is installed it is not usable). Breakfast was included but in terms of quality and variety not comparable to other accommodations we had in Iceland. The location on the lake is nice, the staff was friendly and the hot tube might be inviting, but the quality of the rooms, common area, and breakfast could not convince me."

"Schönes Hotel mit tollen Blick in die isländische Natur. Das Abend im Restaurant war sehr gut! Leider gab es nur wenig vegane/vegetarische Auswahl. Das Zimmer war gut, aber ein wenig klein. Leider waren wir nicht im neuen Gebäudetrakt. Das Frühstück war ok. Jedoch kaum Auswahl an veganen/vegetarischen Angeboten."
