"Unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für New York! Wir können das Hotel hundertprozentig weiterempfehlen! Wir haben uns in der Gegend sicher gefühlt, die Bahn ist nur paar wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Eine Station entfernt ist fußläufig ein großer Target und Lidl - super Einkaufsmöglichkeit. Ansonsten hat man so circa eine halbe Stunde nach Manhattan rein gebraucht. Zu dem Hotel an sich kann ich nur positives sagen. Es war sehr sauber, täglich wurde das Zimmer gereinigt und Handtücher ausgetauscht. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Ganz großes Plus ist auch das Frühstück, man konnte immer gestärkt in den Tag starten. Es gab Rührei, Speck, hartgekochte Eier, Pancakes, Frischkäse, Nutella, Marmelade, Brot, Bagels, Joghurt, Müsli, Orangen- und Apfelsaft, Kaffee… Wir werden uns für den nächsten Besuch definitiv auch für dieses Hotel entscheiden :)"

"Das Opera House Hotel ist ein sehr sauberes und gut geführtes Hotel in der Bronx. Ich habe schon häufiger in der Bronx genächtigt. Leider ist dieser Teil der Bronx der am wenigsten schöne, das macht das Hotel aber wieder wett."

"This hotel is located in a tough and arguably unsafe neighborhood. If you’re a nervous tourist who can’t handle Queens energy, this is probably not for you. The walk to the F-train (about 8 minutes) is lined with homeless individuals and people constantly asking for money. Police presence is visible on almost every block. Local buses one block away connect you to Astoria and Steinway, which is a plus. During our stay, there were daily disruptions: early morning construction noise, fire alarms (we were evacuated at 7am), carpet installation with hammering at 8am, and zero proactive communication from management. Requests were ignored, and there was no effort to offer compensation for repeated inconveniences. The gym is more symbolic than useful — an old treadmill, a stepper, a Peloton bike, and a few free weights. Definitely not a fitness facility. On the positive side, the room was clean, and I appreciated the option of two different types of pillows. Also, if you’re into running or walking, it’s possible to reach Roosevelt Island on foot, which offers a great contrast to the rest. If you can block out the chaos, don’t mind being ignored by staff, and are comfortable in a gritty urban setting — this might work for you."

"Super Hotel. Sehr modern, alles gut in Schuss. Nachdem es hieß, die Zimmer in New York wären alle so winzig, muss ich sagen es war besser als erwartet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Einzig die tägliche Zimmerreinigung hätte etwas besser sein können, aber vielleicht waren wir für amerikanische Verhältnisse zu sparsam mit dem Trinkgeld, who knows. Waren zu kurz da, um das längerfristig zu beurteilen. "
