The Space:

Set within the gated Delamore Cove Estate, Kauri Studio sits above Oneroa with wide views out across the bay to Motuihe Island. Sunlight moves gently across the studio throughout the day, shifting from soft mornings to glowing, golden sunsets. Native birdsong filters through the surrounding bush, and the quietness here is part of what makes the space so restorative.



Inside, the studio is calm and comfortable, with muted furnishings, high ceilings, and large sliding doors that open to your private balcony. There’s a BBQ and a quiet place to eat outside, with uninterrupted views from sea to sky.



The kitchenette is well equipped for simple meals or longer stays, and the space includes a flat-screen TV, Netflix, Starlink Wi-Fi, and a washer–dryer for added convenience. The modern ensuite bathroom is light and fresh, and the queen bed is comfortable with quality linens.



Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared gardens at the entrance, a peaceful spot surrounded by native plantings — perfect for reading, listening to music, or an early-evening drink as the sun sets.



Kauri Studio is one of four self-contained units within the estate. It’s an ideal option for couples or groups travelling together who want their own private space while staying close by.

Guest Access:

Guests have private access to Kauri Studio for the duration of their stay. The studio is fully self-contained with its own kitchenette, ensuite, washer–dryer, and private balcony with BBQ.



You’re welcome to use the shared gardens within the Delamore Cove Estate, a quiet, peaceful area surrounded by trees and sea views. The Te Ara Hura walking track passes directly by the property entrance, offering some of Waiheke’s best coastal and bush walks right from your door.



Check-in is from 2:00 pm, and check-out is by 10:30 am. Early check-ins or late check-outs may be available for a fee depending on booking schedules and same-day turnover



The Neighborhood:

Delamore Cove sits just above Oneroa Village, surrounded by native bush, sea air, and views across the Hauraki Gulf. It’s a quiet, premium part of the island with fast access to everything that makes Waiheke feel effortless.



Start the day with a coffee at Wai Kitchen overlooking the bay or enjoy brunch at Fenice. Cable Bay and Mudbrick Vineyard are only a few minutes away, both known for exceptional food, local wine, and sunsets across the water toward the city.



The Te Ara Hura trail runs directly past the estate, with access to coastal headlands, sculpture park routes, Blackpool Beach, and the village. Oneroa Beach is only a short drive, or an easy walk, ideal for swimming, picnics, and slow afternoons on the sand.



In the evenings, return to the calm of Kauri Studio after dinner in the village or a wine tasting at one of the nearby vineyards.



Getting Around:

Getting around from Delamore Cove is simple. The property is about a five-minute drive from the Matiatia passenger ferry terminal and only a few minutes from Oneroa Village, Little Oneroa Beach, and the island’s main bus routes.



If you’re not bringing a car, buses run regularly from Onetangi through Oneroa and on to the ferry, stopping at all major beaches and wineries, including Mudbrick, Cable Bay, and The Heke. E-bikes and scooters can be hired in Oneroa, and there’s on-site parking just a few steps from the studio for those with a vehicle.
