„We rented this property for 2 weeks. It was part vacation/visit son at Auburn/work remotely part time. The rental was very clean. It was a bit closer to the owners home than we expected (this was the reason for the couple of 4 stars) but they did a great job of making it as private as possible. „Called the house guest when traveling to see if the check in time was central or eastern time but couldn’t get in touch with anyone. Went to the property after 4 on central time and entered the house and the security alarm went off. Was able to find a number to call in a Vrbo email to contact someone. The police arrived, and eventually got the alarm turned off. Several hours later I received calls from the host guest and property owner apologizing and asking if everything was okay. After that ...

„We were in town for an admitted student tour and appointments with advisors. We wanted to be in the "heart of downtown" and the location of this cottage was perfect. It was an easy few block walk to shops, restaurants, and the university. We also loved that it had a monitored/dedicated parking lot behind the unit so we never had to worry about parking. „It is a SCAM!! We got all the required information before our stay. Got to the house 30 mins early. Never received a code to get in & host wouldn’t answer the phone. Was on the phone and on the property for 3 hours trying to fix the issue. VRBO wouldn’t refund the $ or find us a different place to stay. They were ZERO help. Do NOT rent this house or use VRBO!!“

„Home was clean, stocked and as advertised! Host was available as needed (trouble shooting the TV). Only nuances, the neighborhood is run down, neighbors had very noisy dogs - while the home was pet friendly, eveytime we took our dog out the neighbor dogs barked continuously. Not the hosts fault, maybe a privacy fence or some privacy landscaping could help. We had two families one with a baby, the layout is tight, so if baby was up, so was everyone else.
