„This was the best little cottage ever!! It was clean, close to everything, a short walk to the beach, and so cozy! It’s a quiet area with low light so, we thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. The beds were comfy and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. There are spare toys and games to use while there. It truly was my favorite so far! We can not wait to return.“

Had an amazing jet ski tour with AB Water, the boys tried out fishing; overall a nice & relaxing time. I’d rebook again. The downstairs full bath is highly convenient for 6 people, only can use some ventilation. Thanks again!“

„The unit we stayed in was the B side of a three-story duplex. We never heard the neighbors, so that was good. It is a five minute walk to the beach and if you want to drive your gear there, you’ll have to pay for the very limited parking with an app. The unit itself was comfortable and eclectic. The inside dining table only seats four so we had to sit on the porch to be able to seat all seven of us. We had some suggestions for the host on improving how the kitchen is stocked - like more ...

„The location was excellent. There is a 2 minute walk to the beach and it is central to restaurant. The fishing pier is exactly 1 mile away and Fort Macon was 3 miles. The house however had quite a few problems that could easily be fixed with minimal effort. Front porch railing falling off and is unsafe. Poor lighting throughout. A need to spray for ants as they were in the bathrooms. Dirty feet walking across floor. Master bathroom door sticks so if you use it at night, you will wake anyone else ...

„We really enjoyed our stay at the Sand Dollar. The overall cleanliness of the house was good. The location was great just over the Sand Dune and you were on the beach. The reason that we're giving this location a rating of 4 is because we found black mold in the living room on the ceiling. Also, while relaxing on the back porch swing, the extremely Rusty eye bolts gave way. These were our safety concerns. We would definitely consider staying again knowing that these issues will be taken care of.“
