Fenced Yard Home 10 Minutes to Emory

Emory University is 10 minutes away by car: this 2-bedroom Decatur home is a quiet base for a month-long hospital rotation, a university visit or a work trip, with a fenced backyard to step into after a long day and a dedicated workspace for the calls in between.

The 900 sq ft home has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and sleeps 4. Room-darkening shades make daytime sleep possible, central air, ceiling fans and a smart thermostat keep it comfortable, and bed linens, towels, shampoo and body soap are provided.

The full kitchen has a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and cooking basics, so a week of home cooking is easy, and the dining table seats four. A washer and dryer are in the home for a longer stay, and a TV with streaming services is ready for the evening.

Outside, the fenced backyard is private to this home. Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve is a 13-minute walk for a morning loop, Decatur MARTA station is 16 minutes by car, the Georgia Aquarium 25 minutes and Hartsfield-Jackson Airport (ATL) 41 minutes.

Self check-in with a keypad smart lock, free parking on the property and free street parking keep arrival simple. Exterior security cameras cover the outside of the home only. For the safety of our guests and our property, we use a standard guest verification and damage waiver program. After booking, you will receive a link from our 3rd party provider Truvi to verify your identity and electronically sign our rental agreement. This is a standard requirement for all reservations and takes just a minute.

For longer stays (30+ days), we may require a background check and signed Lease Agreement.

However, due to Georgia’s climate—especially during the warm and humid summer months—an occasional outdoor bug may still find its way inside. The occasional presence of a common outdoor insect does not indicate an infestation or cleanliness issue and, by itself, is not grounds for a refund or cancellation. Thank you for your understanding.
