Located right on the coast of the Aegean Sea, Piraeus is home to many things.

Local archaeological sites of interest in Piraeus: 

- Parts of the ancient Themistoclean Walls and the ancient gate to the harbour, Eetioneia – right in front of the house – dating back to the ancient Peloponnesian War.
- The Cave of Arethusa 
- Ruins of the ancient city, viewable from the basement of the beautiful cathedral of Agia Triada
- The ancient Theater of Zea, next to the Archaeological Museum
- Ancient structures in Pasalimani, called Skeuotheke (Skev-OH- the-ke), where battleship-rigging equipment was historically stored
- The prehistoric Syrangion in Kastella, which likely served as a sanctuary to
the local hero Syrango

Museums:

Piraeus is home to several museums and other institutions of great interest
within their fields. The Archaeological Museum of Piraeus displays objects from classical antiquity found in the area of Piraeus and the greater coastal zone, typical of the history and culture of the ancient city. The city also houses the Hellenic Maritime Museum, with exhibits relating to the nautical tradition of Greece, the Merchant Shipping History Institute Exhibition, the Panos Aravantinos Decor Museum, the floating Georgios Averof Museum (located on a historic battleship), and the Museum of Electric Railways, hosted in the Piraeus station. The Municipal Art Gallery and the Municipal Library (one of the largest libraries in Greece) are also prominent within the culture of Piraeus.

A sunny, 30-min stroll or 5-min from the lively port of Piraeus and a quick, 20-min drive from the historic city center, this private, 70m2 unit also offers easy access to Athens’ public transportation, connecting you with the rest of the ancient capital in the cradle of Western civilisation.
The port is a 5-minute ride by car. The Hop on hop off bus passes by and has a stop near the house.

-Never leave the keys behind the door in the lock. In case you lose the keys, the lock has to be replaced. The cost for this will be yours
-Quiet hours are between 1pm & 5pm and after 10pm until 7am (no loud noises at these times)
-To oblige with local regulation we will need the Passport number of the person who booked. From Greek citizens, we require their AFM number
-Please confirm the number of guests to make sure bed linens are provided for extra persons. If we find more people in the listing than on the reservation, they will be removed from the property and charged to your booking for each extra person according to the fee per extra person.
-Please note that kids (of age 2+) are counted as guests and should be added to your reservation. The baby crib could be provided upon request with an additional charge. (€15)
-Checkout is at 11:00 am. Only if agreed upon, and when availability allows it, a later checkout can be organized for a fee. If we find you in the apartment after checkout time the day rate will be charged.
-We use high-quality white sheets & towels. Please make sure they do not get stained. It will be charged if they do get stained.
-Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. If we find you smoked inside a €100 penalty will be charged to your booking.
-For commercial use (photoshoots and video shoots) it is only allowed after consent by us. Different rates than the day rate apply.
-Packages or mail may not be shipped to the apartment. We will not be responsible for receiving, lost, or undelivered packages.
-Booking a reservation constitutes an agreement to comply with the House Rules. Guests who violate these rules are liable for any associated damages, fees, costs, or expenses.
-When you report an issue with the listing, you automatically grant us access when needed to fix the reported issue
