„Between our room (No 202) and the poolarea was one other guestroom. Nevertheless the very loud noise of the whirlpool didn't let us sleep. The whirlpool ran several times at night.
It also seemed as if the staff was very annoyed by the guests. For instance: Breakfast until 10am meens for the Lady in the breakfast room untill 940. Twisting eyes were the answer of the guests "good morning". Friendliness is different in our opinion.“

„Everything clean and well maintained. Good starting point for excursions in the region. Breakfast normal standard and sufficient. Plenty of parking in front of the door.
Only point of criticism. It would be good if there was a way to ventilate the rooms.“

„A great northwoods WI cabin with location being an added bonus. Chequamegon bay is accessible from your doorstep and a short drive will take you to Ashland, Washburn or Bayfield. The cabin was clean, well stocked and beds were comfortable. Great communication with host who also provided excellent information for the area. This served as an excellent basecamp for a ice fishing trip on the bay, sleeping three guys comfortably and I look forward to a return visit with my wife to explore the are ...

„Renoviertes Motel direkt an der Marina. Es gibt am Strand Liegen und einen Feuerkorb. Viel zu bieten hat Washburn nicht. Wir haben es als Ausgangspunkt für den Besuch des Aposte Island National Lakeshore genutzt. Wir können es empfehlen. “

„Netter Empfang, schnelles einchecken. Das Motel ist weitläufig und daher auch weniger laut. Alles sauber, Betten bequem, Ausstattung ausreichend. Keine Beanstandungen, good deal for a good price.“

„We had a great stay at Whitecap. The 3 Queen Suite was perfect for our group, plus our dog Murphy. It was very clean and ready upon our arrival. They did their best to keep lifts open and skiing available despite the very very cold temps. The staff was friendly and Denali was a highlighted staff member throughout the weekend that we saw! Kudos to her hard work. We hope to do another weekend stay in the future here. “
