„We had a great stay at the Beach House. The beach is very close and we have made many trips. On rainy days we could make ourselves comfortable in the lovingly furnished house. We lacked nothing. We especially liked the garden - and so did our dog. :-) The hostess Maxine was very kind and always available and helped us with questions. In summary: We had great holidays, for which the long journey from Switzerland was definitely worth it! :D“

„We enjoyed the area. The chalet was well equipped unfortunately everything you touched was really greasy. The cooker top was discussing. We only used the fridge and kettle throughout our stay thankfully I had mugs with us. Lots of cobwebs and spiders and a slug or snail across the carpet every night. To enter the bathroom you had to go in sideways. The sink was full of shaver hairs and shaving foam the toothbrush holder hadn't been cleaned for months. „One space to park right on the corner of a round about so tight that one person cant get out. Got there and no key in the safe then had to go in the shop to get one. Finally got one and was tkld it wasnt the same apartment we booked as it had a leak. „Lovely cottage and welcoming hosts, enjoyed our two night break but definitely wished we had booked in for longer! Eating breakfast each morning on the patio sharing with the guinea fowl and chickens was definitely a highlight, especially with the fresh eggs available!Sadly we didnt have time to have a go at fishing in the lake but we did enjoy some evening strolls around the land which were lovely.Wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend to friends visiting the area.“

„A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. “

"Nettes Hotel in ländlicher Umgebung. Leider war mein Zimmer frisch gestrichen und direkt neben dem Parkplatz. Somit lauter und der Gestank von der Farbe war furchtbar. Zusätzlich war das Zimmer ziemlich kalt da die Heizung noch aus war."
