„Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Über die Hintertür hat man sogar einen kleinen Garten. Die Betten sind fantastisch. Es liegt an der Hauptstraße von Fortrose ist aber trotzdem Nachts sehr ruhig. Der kleine Ort liegt am Meer und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um den Norden oder Inverness (12 km) zu erkunden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war absolut problemlos und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haben leider nur eine Nacht im Haus verbracht, können es aber uneingeschränkt weiter ...

„Die Ferienwohnung ist extrem gut und modern ausgestattet — die Bäder sind geschmackvoll und großzügig hergerichtet und auch in der Küche und im Wohnzimmer ist alles zu finden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unseren Kindern gefiel insbesondere die schönen Beleuchtungsmöglichkeiten in der gesamten Wohnung und die Terrasse.“

We didn’t get a chance to try the awesome wood stove/cook top but it was a beautiful backdrop. Beds were comfy, shower had great pressure and beautiful grounds to explore or just look at. Check out Tarvie, just up the road, for your breakfast coffee, hot rolls and baked goods - their tablet is the best!“

Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. The owner has equipped with everything you need to make this a perfect holiday home and the bonus of very comfortable beds at the end of the day. There are so many great walks in the area that coming back to the fantastic hot tub makes it all worth while. ...

The house had everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We had an enjoyable time. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you. If you are looking to visit other areas you will need a car.“

„We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cottage was quintessential Scottish and beautiful. Beds very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to have a coffee maker for those of us who would like a pot of coffee and didn’t have a dryer. Fortunately we were able to dry clothes in the glorious sunshine while we were in the Highlands. Strathpeffer was a lovely place to visit. Drove to Ullapool for the day, great day trip. Overall, highly recommend this beautiful spot!“
