„It was a beautiful place with awesome facilities, would stay again in a heartbeat. Just as a heads up there was a poisonous snake we saw near the front of the home however it is probably unavoidable because of proximity to the waterfront. Just be careful if you check in at night like we did!“

„We have been here before. This is our second stay. We love the tin roof cabin. We call it the girl scout cabin because of the layout of the beds but we heard it used to be a nunery. Either way it is a spectacular property. We were traveling with all of our children and spouses. We love The Abbey Kitchen, Elephant Rocks, Johnsons Shut-Ins, and new this time we rafted with Parks Bluff. A great trip. Two things; the listing says toaster and we didn't see one. „overall we had a great stay. everything was as expected. Justin was great to communicate with. The mattress on the murphy pull out bed on the wall was pretty stained so we did not feel comfortable using it. We brought a blow up air mattress so that saved us. They did have a blow up mattress there but it wouldn't hold air. we would go back if we planed another float trip to the black river. “

„It was wonderful! Very modern with multiple amenities! Having the courtyard to relax in and watch the cars go by was so nice! Plenty of room for a big family! The owners actually have an adorable boutique and coffee shop down stairs! Stay and grab you a coffee and you won't regret it! “

„The was my second stay at this cabin, and it was amazing both times. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and we had no issues whatsoever during our stay. Highly recommend this cabin if you want privacy and to be about as close as possible to the river.“

„My three old friends and I had a relaxing, peaceful weekend in this beautiful cabin in the woods. Only the sounds of nature accompanied us as we sat around the fire pit and reminisced. When we first arrived we found out from the owner they’d been made aware of the hot water heater not working as it should. „Had a hard time finding, because I forgot to read your instructions. Oops! But found it and was easy to get in. The trains in the evening where intersting to watch do maintenance. "The place really didn't work out for me at all. I have been in a lot of hotels across country, but this place just had a bad vibe. I'm already not a big fan when my room has a connecting door to another room but in this case whoever wasn't the other side was snoring and did other bodily sounds the whole night which was super annoying. Also the AC was either a very simple or a very old model. More or less you had only the option to turn it on or off there was no way it would shut down after it reaches a certain temperature it was just constantly running or it was not running at all and then you had a very humid warm climate inside the room. The breakfast area is usually very dirty. I'm also not a big fan of the more recent tradition that there is no more room service or cleaning on a daily basis and hotels anymore. The whole 3 days we've been there there was none at all. We were on ground level floor so we had a door at the hallway as well as one to the outside on the back. The seals of the door were extremely worn and there was absolutely no soundproofing which is in consideration that the hotel is next to an highway onramp, very unpractical."
