„I went as a single female traveller and I felt safe and well looked after. Upon checking in they allowed me to check in early and they also upgraded my room which I greatly appreciate. I came in low season but I still throughly enjoyed my stay. I will definitely make a trip back. “

„Ich kann dieses wunderschöne Paradies jedem empfehlen. Es war das absolute Paradies für uns am Ende unserer Reise durch Kenia. Eine sehr familiäre und innige Beziehung, obwohl wir nur 5 Nächte dort waren. Granny und ihre Tochter und das Personal wie Sophie waren alle sehr gastfreundlich. Das Essen war frisch und lecker, einfach fantastisch. Der Pool, die Zimmer und allgemein die Anlage waren ständig sauber und gepflegt. Eigentlich 5 Sterne ! „First of all it is clear that this hotel is far from 5 stars. While the rooms (in fact cottages) are not bad (4/5 for me) and the hotel staff is very friendly (5/5 for me) the breakfast choice was dissatisfying (3/5 for me). The offer of fruit juices was limited to 2, while one always was watermelon and the other changed between mango and pineapple. „The general conditions are good, rooms are nice and clean and airconditioners works well. Pool is Nice and clean. Food was good although no meat ( bacon and sausages) for breakfast in last 3 days of visit. Management does not adjust to needs - we were keen on Tusker Lite and although the resort is between Malindi and Watamu, they could never procure this. Chef’s cooking is good. Bei der Buchung in Expedia landet man im „Lion in the Sun“. Im Lion in the Sun gibt es mehrere Hütten, die je 4 Zimmer beinhalten. Jede Hütte hat ihren eigenen Lounge Bereich mit Sofas und einem eigenen Pool. Außerdem gibt es noch einen großen gemeinschafts-Pool. Frühstück gibt es in dem Teil in dem man übernachtet. Restaurant nur im Billionaire. Ein Shuttle Service Transportiert einen wann immer man möchte von einem in den anderen Teil (600m Distanz). Der Strand am Billionaire ist felsig, die Pools im „Lion in the Sun“ sind traumhaft und sehr ruhig, perfekt zum entspannen. Das Fitnessstudio ist gut, hat aber leider kein WLAN. Das Personal ist super freundlich und bemüht. Wir können das Hotel weiter empfehlen. Der Strand am Billionaire hingegen war etwas enttäuschend."
