„Visiting family and friends in Nova Scotia, for more than a month and while I truly enjoy their company, I needed a short 'me time'. This was perfect for a 2 day get away and I could have stayed longer, but was expected in the Annapolis Valley. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen; knowing the type of coffee maker ahead of time would have helped me choose my 'grind' better. Cosy living area with a view of the lake. „The host keeps a close eye on things at the property and that might put some people off, but this cottage really is a gem. There is a clear, sandy area for swimming and launching kayaks, and sitting on the dock just watching fish jump was bliss. The cottage is extremely well equipped with comfortable beds, a screened porch, and lots of room for relaxing. “

„This is a classic historic maritime house, there was lots of room here! It was clean and comfortable and we each had our own bathroom. It was a very quick walk to all the action in downtown Digby, we enjoyed that part very much. Our responsive hosts were very welcoming.“

„This was unexpectedly a great place to spend a few days. We booked at the very last minute as a previous host was a scammer and stood us up the night before we were due. It's on a very quiet lake and the description is entirely accurate. Peaceful and not too far away from grocery stores, liquor store and Digby - which has lots of amenities. We were surprised it was available the day before we showed up. It shouldn;t have been! It's a great place to spend a few days .....“
