The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. „The cabin is a perfect for a getaway. Close to multiple beaches. You can go by the shore, sit at the table and enjoy the lake. The double bed was comfortable. There is no tv but who needs one when you have so much to do. It is great that the cabin is dog friendly. Wonderful host and easy to communicate. “

„The house was very nice and clean. Plenty of dishes, glasses, and pots and pans - they were a little old but serviceable. The neighborhood was very quiet except for the main road close by. Plenty of grocery stores within a few miles to pick up whatever you need. The beach was a few minutes walk away and nobody was there. Plenty of golf courses within a half hour of the house. „This is a quaint second floor 2 bedroom unit in a large condo complex with a great lakefront view. Very clean, relative new and well maintained. All of the condo owners we met were seniors just like us. Before we got there, everyone that looked at the picture said it was too far from the water. In reality it was quite the opposite. „We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places.
