Hotels Althorne

„Breakfast service didn’t start till 9am which was a bit late for our plans. Room was basic but clean“

„Charming old building with cosy rooms. Excellent restaurant downstairs. Nice views of the river and sailboats. Right at the promenade. Access to the rooms through the staff area of the kitchen. Private bathroom was not en-suite.“

„Second time staying at the Ship and it was once again excellent. Really friendly staff, lovely room with comfortable bed and pillows and the breakfast is superb. Highly recommend“

„Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was a standard room at the top of the house and it was very clean with a nice ensuite and a comfortable bed. The decor and furniture enhanced the room giving plenty of space to put our clothes and personal effects. Food was very good, we had a three course dinner and the food was delicious.

„Lovely room clean and very comfortable bed food was lovely staff very friendly and helpful had a great time we will be coming back soon.“

„Second time I have stayed here, will be coming back again! Room lovely and clean. Breakfast was very nicely cooked and a good sized portion. Staff were very smiley, polite and helpful. They had also made arrangements so I could charge my vehicle too which was a bonus! Many thanks!“

„Very dirty and dated hotel, mold in the rooms, breakfast not good.“
