Spend time exploring magnificent Alnwick Castle and Gardens and book lunch in the treehouse. Nearby, Alnmouth’s wide, sandy beach is perfect for strolling and picnics with a picturesque golf course and friendly village amenities (4 miles). Visit Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum (6.5 miles), the former home of Earl Grey, and head to Craster’s pretty harbour for seafood and follow the coastal path to Dunstanburgh Castle (7.5 miles).

The contemporary kitchen is a wonderful space, so if you want to eat in, you have all the equipment you need to create delicious meals and drinks. The dining table has seating for four if you are entertaining friends. There are views of the outside space and garden areas from every angle, and in the warmer months, why not open the glazed doors to enjoy some inside/outside living? For a great night’s sleep, head through to the inviting bedroom with beautiful stone feature walls and a super-king-size zip-and-link bed which can be made up as a twin on request.
