„Osprey Cabin was almost new, and had very nice furnishings. It was a very hot afternoon when we arrived, so the closed cabin was stuffy and the lack of AC noticeable in trying to cool it down. We appreciated the communication from the manager and the easy check-in/out. The property is attractive and near the pond, but if there were other things to do, they were all locked up.“

„The room had a kitchenette, room has a lot of room, two queens, bar to eat upon, clean towels with extras, all kitchen items. There was a gas grill if needed. I will stay there again in the future.“

„This is very extraordinary. We visited Nevada City and decided to stay in a cabin of this hotel that is located in Virginia City - but the cabins are right next to the old museums town of Nevada City. So, you drive one mile back and get an authentic cabin of the settlers (but with modern elements like power, AC, hot water, etc). We travelled with young teens and they thought we making a joke but the liked it as well. For dinner, it is just a mile to Virginia City, for breakfast you have a great ...

Cons; Shared Bathroom, extremely dated decor and feel
The door to my room had recently been forced open and badly repaired. A good shove would push in the door. The building feels like a 1940's cheap rooming house without any of the character and charm you'd hope for. Decor is dreadful. Suspended ceiling and fluorescent lights. The building smells slightly of sewer (?)“
