Romantic Chalet Villa, Quinta Boa Vida

Located in the Silver Coast, 15 min by car from the famous white sand/surf beach "Nazare" & surrounded by beautiful scenery & must see attractions, Quinta Boa Vida is a pitturesque country side property with 5 independent small villas just approx 3-5 min away by car from the town of Alcobaça. After passing the green iron gate leave your car at the free parking area, and take the granite cobble stone path to the typical Portuguese stone style Villas to enjoy gardens pool, BBQ area and more.
The space
Nestled in the hills of Alcobaça, our picturesque 1,7 hectare property is a beautifully renovated farm perched on a characteristic hillside with 360° views of the surrounding Vineyards and nature, and has its own creek, a few rows of vineyards, an apple orchard, olive and fruit trees of all sorts, mountain views and a small forest which gives you the impression you're in a remote country side, despite having most essentials and city amenities only minutes away.

The 37 square meter ROMANTIC CHALET is an independent small house and very cozy.
It has a complete kitchen, fully stocked with fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine and provides all utensils, plates, mugs, glasses for every occasions and all the tools necessary to wine and dine with your loved one.

The bathroom is surprisingly large and very comfortable. It has a large shower with great water pressure and has a sliding door to maximize space.

The bedroom has a queen size bed (160cmx200cm) and a stand alone close. The bed has comfortable matrasses for a perfect sleep. If you look out the window you'll see beautiful trees, vineyards and the sunset in the evening. It also has a sliding door so that the space is maximized.

The living room area has a tv and a comfortable couch, perfect for snuggling up to your loved one, and offers wifi and cable tv. The patio in front of the villa is perfect to enjoy a meal outdoors or just relax in the garden.
The villa has air condition that can cool or heat as required. We provide bed linens and bathroom towels for our guests (guests use their own beach towels for the pool).

The Quinta itself offers a terrific blend of comfort and relaxation, with breath taking views of the surroundings. Our pool area is on the most elevated part of the property away from the villas for privacy. It has an outdoor shower, a wooden Gazebo with a grand circular table, with a grassy opening shaded by an ancient cork tree just next to it, where you can relax in the hammacs.

We also offer a communal BBQ area that has a metre long grill space that can satisfy the grill specialist in any group. There's also a traditional wood pizza/bread oven and running water/sink so that you and your loved ones can prepare an outdoor meal fit for any food lover.

On the lower part of the property, there is an open field with a small creek bed, made up from stones placed hundreds of years ago that has active water running during the winter months. Next to that you'll find a walnut tree that is well over a century and a half old that offers the perfect spot to read a book or enjoy a glass of wine. If you feel like a nice evening walk, or a quiet picnic, please enjoy our private mini forest complete with a small circuit and a stone picnic table along the way.

Guests have access to anything within their private accomodations, as well as the communal ammenities such as the pool and BBQ area's etc.

Help us save resources: please turn off air conditioning and lights when leaving the villas for sight seeing.

No parties or events: Parties, gatherings, and functions of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property.

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside the home and within the property.

Unregistered guests: Under no circumstances will visitors be allowed to stay the night.

Checkout: Checkout is at 11 a.m. Late checkout may be accommodated if agreed upon with the host at the time of reservation.

Trash: All trash must be disposed of in the designated bins and should never be left around the property.

Noise: Guests and visitors must keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb the other guests at the property especially during nighttime hours (e.g. 11 p.m. – 8 a.m.), and upon arrival and departure.

Parking: You may park one vehicle in the designated parking area of the property. For additional vehicles, please consult with us prior to check in.

Illegal activities: All illegal activities, not limited to the use of illegal substances, are strictly prohibited.

Lost key fees: Keys are to remain in the possession of the primary guest at all times during the stay. The keys should never be replicated or left out of the care of the primary guest.

Maintenance: Please inform the host in the event that anything breaks or isn’t functioning properly, and we will do our best to address it during your stay.

Fire prevention: Do not smoke or use candles indoors, and be sure to turn off the stove when it’s not in use to prevent fires. BBQ is only permitted in the BBQ area.

Appliances and electronics: TV usage is allowed for guests during the entire duration of their stay. Guests are not allowed to purchase, download, or rent any subscription or entertainment using the appliances.

Swimming Pool Policy

📌 No Lifeguard at the pool, all children or any person that cannot swim must be supervised.
📌NO GLASSES, BREAKABLE OBJECTS or GLAS BOTTLES are allowed inside or next to the swimming pool.
📌 Proper bathing apparel must be utilised at all times.
📌 Noise and music strictly prohibited.
📌 Swimming pool is exclusively for booked guests.
📌 Pool will be closed from 19h00pm - 7h00am.
📌 Use of an infant life vest or arm tubes are encouraged.
📌 Running along the side of the pool is and diving into the pool is strictly prohibited.
📌 Persons under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to use the pool.
📌 For hygiene reasons, all persons are requested to make use of the shower prior to using the swimming pool facility.
📌 Guests swim at their own risk and the Quinta will not be responsible for any injuries while using the Quinta facilities
