Relax w/friends & family in this 2 level home offering rustic charm & modern comfort with 2 fireplaces, all new beds, 2 55in smart TVs in common areas, tons of light & a spacious deck ideal for morning coffee or evenings under the stars. You can do dinner inside or out on the deck then head downstairs for games. It’s a short ride to the beach, pool, tennis/b-ball courts, lakeside restaurant, nearby hiking trails & ski hills. This house is a perfect year-round escape that will make you feel at home!
Your Pocono Mountain getaway starts here! This two level home located in the amenity filled private community of Towamensing Trails has everything you need. Within 1 mile, you have access to the beautiful lake, pool (with kiddie pool), playground, lake front restaurant, volleyball, basketball, tennis and pickleball courts!!
The House
Being that there are 2 floors with 2 separate living areas, there is plenty of space for everyone to relax. We love to spend time here as well so it is well maintained and meticulously cleaned. Also, we just purchased all new beds and most of the furniture is brand new.
Both levels have plenty of seating with 55in smart TVs and fireplaces. There is a large private back yard where kids will love to play and adults can play yard games or hand on the 2nd floor deck to enjoy the outdoors.
First Floor
Enter using the keyless entry or through the laundry room if need to shed your clothes from a long day of skiing. This floor has a gas fireplace, sofa, recliner, 55in smart TV, full bathroom and several age appropriate games for the family to enjoy.
There are three bedrooms on this floor. 1 Queen with a TV, 1 bunk bed (2 twins and 1 full), and a cozy room with a 2 twin beds in a trundle.
Second Floor
Head upstairs to the main level for another living room with a large sectional couch, a recliner, and 55in smart TV. On this floor you will also find a full kitchen, the dining room, a fully stocked coffee/tea bar, access to the large deck as well as the screened in and furnished porch.
Dine in the kitchen’s adjacent dining area at the table for 6. Cook and dine outside on the propane grill (host provides propane) or sit on the outdoor furniture with a drink. You’ll love the deck for relaxing in the fresh air and enjoying the peace and quiet.
We provide you with fresh towels, washcloths, hand towels, sheets, comforters and pillows prior to check in. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided in both bathrooms.
Keyless entry will be provided prior to check in.
You have access to everything in the house and on the property except the storage shed in the backyard, locked utility closet on the second floor and the locked entrance to the crawl space, located on the first floor.
The property features three exterior security cameras: One camera is at the front entrance facing the driveway, one camera is located near the side entrance and the other is on the back shed. The cameras are outward facing and do not point into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion. They will record when they first sense motion and 30 seconds after the last motion is detected.
- this property does not have air conditioning. The hottest days get around 80 midday and drop down to low 60s at night. There are plenty of fans.
-No parties permitted
-You may see deer on the property, sometimes close to the house.
-Guests must climb four steps to enter the house.
-Guest must take trash to the dumpster. You will be provided details prior to check in.
-Towamensing Trails prohibits firepits from being used by renters.
-Guests must agree to rules of behavior from the Towamensing Trails community, as follows:
– Renters over the age of 5 years MUST wear wristbands at all times whenever utilizing the amenities of Towamensing Trails (private pool, beach, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, ball field, and playground.) Maximum 8 wristbands per property to use community amenities (as per community regulation). Please plan use of amenities properly.
