„We had a brilliant stay and only wished it could have been longer. The state park is superb, with great biking trails and good facilities at the campsite. The cottages are a great place to stay. Their location on the lake-front is brilliant; they are spacious and well equipped, including free bikes, and fuelled bbq and fire pit. “

„We had a great stay. I enjoyed fishing every morning from the dock and bulkhead on the property. I caught a lot of specked trout. The house is nicely furnished and very clean. Nicky the property owner prior to my stay answer all of my questions in a timely manner. I would stay here again fore sure.“

„Communication with host was excellent as was the check in and out process. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The location is beautiful with a magnolia tree, pine tree and wisteria in full bloom hanging over the fence (which is in need of repair—stated in listing). It was easy walking distance to the beach—approximately 0.5 miles to the middle beach parking lot and another 0.4 miles to the water’s edge. It is a quiet neighborhood. „The proximity and ease to get to the beach was amazing! The house gave us all as much space as needed and was clean. The community was quiet. We loved The Picnic restaurant so much we went twice. We went to Zeke’s for our “nice/dress up” dinner and were not disappointed! There are ice cream shops everywhere!! “

„The listing has "private pool", there is no pool, only a broken hot tub. We called twice about the broken hot tub and were told the first time that they were coming to fix it and the second time that we did not pay for the hot tub and should have called ahead to pay extra for that "amenity". No where in the listing, does it mention this requirement. Household items were scarce. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and tiny sample toiletries for each shower (not enough for even one shower ...

„Our family overall enjoyed the stay at Bay Leave. No real issues with the home, communication was good. The home / deck will need some updates in the next couple years - it was warm in the home (AC can only be set to 72), the main bed isn't very comfortable and the fridge doesn't cool super well. The stairs to access are rickety. You cannot follow the GPS directions, they will take you to the back of the house - the full time residents all around are not super friendly. „Everything was great, there were only a handful of issues. There was hair left in of the toilets upstairs i assume from the last guest. No of the tvs upstairs worked because all romotes were connected to the tv downstairs. And the bathroom doors would jam. Otherwise it was a perfect place and we il be coming back!“

„My family had an excellent spring break stay in this home! It is roomy, comfortable and easily accommodates large families, especially if you are bringing pets. We found it very clean and inviting. The absolute BEST part is the location, just off the sandy shores of the Gulf. The neighborhood is nice and walkable, again very convenient if you are bringing pets. We will absolutely stay here again!“

„Communication with host was great. Thank you leaving us the basics (hand soap, dish soap, furniture covers for the dogs, beach towels, toilet paper, and paper towels). Everything was “clean”; however, place could use a deep cleaning. Price was decent for accommodations and for it being pet friendly. We will return and rent again. Place could use some upgrades. Locks need to be changed they are rusted and did not lock/unlock with ease“

„The house was great for me and my two sons. We love to fish, so with the house sitting on the bay with the dock was excellent. Many different species can be caught from the the dock as well as crab. Dolphin can be seen from the dock as well. Mr Reeves is very nice and helpful as well making a great overall experience.“

„Perfect cozy cottage for a couple or small family. Great location and ease of access to the Golf Shores community and attractions and the beach! The hosts have done very well in making things simple and convenient. I have found my go-to-spot for my future trips!“

„Loved everything about this place. We only had one issue which was the dishwasher was broken due to the people before us, which would have been nice since 6 of us staying and we cooked and ate all our meals there. Other than that communication with the owners was always fast and easy and we are ready to come back and stay again. “

"Super schön gelegen am National Park. Tolle Trials für Einsteiger. Bequeme Betten, schönes Hotel am Strand. Nur einige Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption könnten etwas herzlicher sein."

"Wir waren während unseres Roadtrips in dem Hotel. Der Eingangsbereich ist super modern und neu renoviert. Zu den Zimmern geht es über ein seperates Gebäude. Leider ist das Gelände nicht gepflegt, um das Gebäude herum liegen tausende Zigarettenstummel. In den zweiten Stock zu den Zimmern kommt man nur über eine außenliegende Treppe. Der Treppenaufgang wird leider ebenso nicht gepflegt und gesäubert. Das Zimmer an sich scheint renoviert zu sein. Auf den ersten Blick auch sauber. Der zweite Blick in die verschiedenen Ecken wie z.b. im Bad zeigt leider etwas anderes. Hier wird nicht gründlich geputzt. Zudem sind die Räume sehr sehr hellhörig. Wir hatten nebenan eine amerik. Familie mit kleinen Kindern, die lautstark sprachen und ihre elektr. Geräte bedienten. 22-00:00 Uhr …. Schrecklich. Leider alles eher Motel - Feeling. Aber so schlimm wie es hier zu lesen war, ist es nicht. Für eine Nacht machbar. Länger würden wir nicht empfehlen & trotzdem nicht nochmal wieder kommen. "
