„The house was nice and clean, the beds very comfy and the kitchen had all the basic needs for feeding the gang. If the weather would have given us a little more sunshine and a little less rain, the stay there would have been perfect! “

„This cabin is awesome! It is immaculate and well laid out with two bedrooms and two baths. There is a great porch overlooking the valley. Though our intention was to visit Mentone and De Soto State Park, we did neither, instead staying at the cabin and enjoying the solitude and scenery. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.“

„Perfect for a get away weekend especially for a couple. Has everything you need for a perfect get away. The view is on the brow and over looks the valley. the sound of the train going through the valley is so comforting. And a super comfy king size bed. Close enough to walk to brow park or to the cute shop and the Wild flower cafe.“

„My husband & I along with another couple stayed in The Outlook from Friday to Sunday. It was the perfect place! We loved the house, the location, the amenities, the cleanliness and the decor. We hope to visit again! As for Mentone, the shops were fun to visit & see all the creativity and arts. The Wildflower Cafe is a MUST as well as The Hatter. Mentone is a small quaint town that allows you somewhat be unconnected from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Definitely recommend The Outlook in ...

„Exactly what we were looking for! The Shire was perfect spot for our quick family get away. Close to everything but entertainment right on site. Kayaking the river - finding the old dam/waterfall, saw wildlife (deer, geese), fishing, ending the day in the hot tub then dinner around the fire. Holly was great help with ideas for entertaining a 14 yr old and things to do. Highly recommend!“

Nehmen ist seliger als Geben !!!

"Halt! Stop! Gehen Sie nicht in dieses Hotel! Ich bin Gold Member bei Hotels.com und ich weiss wie man Buchungen vornimmt. Aber beim Einchecken in diesem Hotel sagte man mir: "sorry, Sir, there's no booking for you! We can't help any further!" Der Not gehorchend habe ich als Walk-In eingecheckt und logischerweise nochmals den vollen Betrag bezahlt. Zuhause hat dann ein Email Verkehr mit Hotels.com statttgefunden, der einen 4cm hohen Papierstapel ausmacht. Und obwohl es eine Confirmation Number vom Hotel gibt wollte man zuerst gar nichts wissen von einer Rückerstattung. Es erforderte einen immensen Druck von Hotels.com bis dann endlich, nach fast einem Monat, die Rückerstattungen vergütet wurden. Danke vielmals den Mitarbeitern von Hotels.com für die Mithilfe! Und dem Hotel kann ich nur raten die Damen an der Reception und/oder die Accountants so schnell wie möglich auszuwechseln! Stop! Don't stay at this hotel! I'm Gold Member at Hotels.com and I know how to make bookings. But when I checked in at this hotel, I was told: "Sorry, sir, there's no booking for you! We can't help any further!" Obeying the emergency, I checked in as walk-in and, of course, paid the full amount again. At home, I exchanged emails with Hotels.com, which amounted to a 4cm-high stack of paper. And even though we had a confirmation number from the hotel, it refused to offer any refunds !!! It took immense pressure from Hotels.com to solve this. Thank you Hotels.com! And shame on that hotel in Huntsville!"

"Unfortunately, during my visit there was construction work going on in the entire hallway and the workers left a lot of dirt in the hallway. Instructions for better tidying up would be appropriate. In my room the suction in the bathroom was very loud. In addition, the outside windows were very dirty, which wasn't a pretty sight. Otherwise nice hotel with very friendly staff. Very good location."
