„Wir haben das Hotel als Unterkunft während unserer Wanderung auf dem Cleveland Way genutzt. Positiv aufgefallen ist uns die sehr gepflegte Außenanlage. Im Hotel selbst wird aktuell umgebaut. Uns hat das für unseren Aufenthalt von einer Nacht nicht gestört. Das Zimmer war tadellos, das Restaurant vom Raum sehr schön und das Frühstück überaus reichhaltig. “

„Good location at the top of town. Could leave car parked and walk to seafront easily through the town centre. Was close to Stephen Joseph Theatre where we saw a show. Hotel is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. Wetherspoons just round the corner for breakfast. Rooms were comfortable but wish I'd spotted the blackout blind before I went bed.“

„Compared to other hotels in Scarborough this one is a good choice. A friendly and professional welcome, a nice view, a large room. The downsides are the room is directly situated above the bar & garden which has customers drinking, laughing and yelling till midnight. Food is ok, but not great. The friendly receptionist is also a very good escalation manager and took the parking fee off the bill to make up for the noise.“

„Clean spacious room with a great view of the beach, sea and castle. Walking to the busy front is about 30/40 mins if via the coast walk or 10/15 minutes if via steep walk through the streets at the rear of the hotel. Friendly helpful staff, a staff member actually ran out of the hotel to put our parking permit in the car to thwart a zealous traffic warden. A decent buffet breakfast with cereal, fruit,toast or cooked full English available. Would stay here again. “

„I stayed at the Palm hotel for a business weekend. The hotel was very clean. Good choice of options for evening meals. Breakfast options were excellent. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. Really good location only five minutes drive from the railway station and minutes to the venue I was attending.“
