„The home was exactly as pictured, beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and plenty of trees, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hosts, Al, Ana, and Leo, were incredibly warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The kitchen and bathrooms were exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed and more, which made our stay very comfortable. „We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. „Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!“
