"This was the best stay I had on my trip. Pristine silence and fresh air, and a small heating unit makes the room cozy. Comfy bed, pillows, and blankets. It's "minimal"... but really it has everything you need and more... Nikos was nice, communicative (over phone), and recommended a *great* local restaurant... 'En Chatipi' If you plan right and leave the heater on while showering, you can squeeze 12 minutes of steaming hot water. There's no wifi, but the place gets cell service. I did all my wifi things in town after dinner I visited in March and the oranges outside were ripe and delicious Thank you Nikos"

"This hotel is in a perfect location directly on the sea shore. That is only good thing I can say. We arrived at 14.30 and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive on reception to be told the room was not ready and to go away for an hour. When we returned we were showed our room on the ground floor which we booked as a family room with a sea view and it looked at the carpark. There were 2 twin beds pushed together and no extra beds in the room. The mattresses were as hard as boards and very uncomfortable. When we went into the bathroom we were stunned as there was no hot water and only a trickle of cold water. Impossible to shower but no shower gel, shampoo or soap. I the evening we decided to eat at the hotel as it advertised fresh fish but no fish so settled for pork steak and lamb chops both served with no salad garnish or any finesse at all. The next morning at check out we told the receptionist who again had to be found of our dissatisfaction and she replied that they knew if the rooms problems last October I would not recommend this hotel to anyone "

"Perfect location within an hour of Nafplion, Mykines, Epidavros and the mountains of Arkadia. Amazing views overlooking a beautiful, quiet beach with plenty of beach equipment for all to borrow. The rooms are spacious and simply furnished but functional. The owners live on the property and couldn’t have been more delightful. But it’s the small things that make the biggest difference. The shaded carports to keep cars cool. The plentiful coffee, olive oil, vinegar and other basics in the kitchen. The cold water bottles by the pool. The fact that every morning all the umbrellas are in place and the chairs tucked under waiting for the guests. And I could keep going. Lucas and Sylvia are unobtrusive yet always out and about keeping things up. We wish we could have stayed longer than the three days…"

"This is a perfect holiday home for a family group. There was rooms for everyone and plenty of bathrooms. The welcome breeze off the mountains, the owners advice on keeping windows and shutters closed in the day, and the floor fans absolutely did the job of keeping us comfortable in 38C heat. Noisy air con was not needed. We loved the spaces to eat outside, always a shady spot when you needed it. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach at dawn and dusk. We drove out to visit other beaches for lunches & more swims. Visited Nafplio twice & Epidavaros Theatre & Museum but mostly relaxed on beaches ( lots of useful beach paraphernalia available) & ate at 'home'. Michalis & Jannis were available by phone for any issues; broken lights & fan were sorted promptly. Some great instructions supplied including the video to find the remote road. We would highly recommend this beautiful, rustic, uniquely Greek property. Especially enjoyed with a cold beer on the patio under the amazing stars watching the geckos."
