„The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor“

„Excellent place to stay near Guysbourgh. So quiet you can hear your own thoughts and no light pollution so you can see all the stars. Only small issue was people before us had a dog so we had a slight wet dog smell in the apartment but it was dealt with quickly.“

„A magical, very secluded little cottage in the middle of nowhere for a very private stay for a small family. It's the cutest old cottage house, super cozy, right next to calm water. It's a small house, so everything is small. The kitchen, the bathroom, the bedrooms, the living room. It's also old. „Booking this cottage was a great choice for a much needed weekend getaway.Cottage is perfectly located with a spectacular ocean view.Very clean inside and out.The cottage is situated on a very peaceful setting.My communication with the owner was also very good with prompt responses to all my questions..We will definitely be returning to this property probably sooner than later.“

"We were on family trip (3 adults) staying two nights to visit Cap Breton. The Inn was chosen because of convenient location and good ratings. First, the two bedroom appartment is NOT part of the main building, but separate in the basement of a nearby one-family house. We arrived late in the dark after a long travel. Reception was closed, so we phoned owner and were given check-in details and a photo of the premises (which was of little use in the dark). But finally we found the appartment. When entering the appartment we were greeted by a an strong kitchen smell; if you like Indian curry, you might not be disturbed by this. We were. The heating in the bedrooms was switched off and no instruction could be found how to switch them on. So we slept in our cloths for the first night. When taking a seat at the kitchen table one of us nearly broke down because of the condition of the chair. We reported this next morning during breakfast (which was really good) and were asked to call the owner later to discuss. We did so and basically the solution was that the owner removed the chair and switched on the heating for us, so when we returned it was like a sauna. We finally figured out how to operate the heating ourself. As an overall experience, this is not what we expected. Probably we were too demanding, but we felt that the price would justify a decent level of comfort. So, while we can not judge on the other rooms, we would not recommed the two bedroom appartment. "
