Overall, our stay was ok. Definitely paid way over standard rates due to it be the Gather Round weekend (4x the standard room rates) but that's what expected booking so early in advanced and to lock in our reservation.
Front of motel and lobby areas looked VERY tired. Built in the 70's and I can honestly say, it doesn't look like it's been updated since. Mexican restaurant attached was closed also during hours when you'd expect it to be open. Especially during such a huge weekend for business. Luckily lots of great venues to eat around the area.
In room - Clean (main thing) and bathrooms look renovated within the last 10 years, however, paint on doors look tired and even had a few hole repairs that look like someone previously had punched into them (probably be better to replace the door?). A few (around 20 small moths flying around the bathroom. You'd think housekeeping would have used some "raid" on their daily rounds. Missing towels on arrival, reception said they'd bring some around, but never did. No big deal, just a drop in service.
Overall, a 2-3 star motel, charging 5 star rates for a high demand weekend. It is what it is. Would we stay here again? Probably not, but if you're looking for a place to flop and don't have any expectation other than a clean room (other than the moths in the bathroom) and you can get a deal on the room, it would be acceptable.
