„Cabin was very clean . The furniture was old but in good condition. Kitchen only had one burner but plenty of pots/pans utensils etc. After busy day I would have appreciated somewhere to sit comfortably, the futon was okay. Beds were good and clean bedding. The road was very busy and a bit weary crossing with children. The dock was fine and we caught fish! Great location to Bon echo park. Stay was good for a couple of nights. Parking tight if you have a truck. “

„Took my family here for a much needed getaway for my postpartum wife. It was perfect. Having the river directly behind the cabin was amazing for the view and swimming (great fishing too), it was closer than I expected and the waterfall nearby was such a nice ambient sound. That being said, the photos (you cross the road to get to the dock) and information (the dock is shared) are misleading. I just wish I knew this information beforehand. The only thing was the washroom doesn't have a door and isn't completely closed off (it is sectioned off behind the main room), so just be advised before you go. "I don't usually write reviews, but this place truly deserves one. Our stay was absolutely amazing and one of the best experiences we've ever had. From the very beginning, the communication with Karin was excellent. Due to unexpected delays, we couldn't arrive on our original booking date and had to postpone our arrival by one day. Karin was incredibly understanding, responded to all of our messages right away, and kindly allowed us to check in a day later without any hassle. She even made it possible for us to arrive late at night, which we really appreciated. The accommodation was beautiful, cozy, and spotlessly clean. The house is located right on a stunning lake, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was comfortable, warm, and very clean. Karin prepared a delicious breakfast, and her kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail made our stay even more special. One of the absolute highlights was the opportunity to take a canoe out on the lake and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. It was such a peaceful and unforgettable experience. Thank you, Karin, for making our stay so special. We couldn't have asked for a better host. If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful place with exceptional hospitality, this is it.
