„Ethan and his family werevery gracious and answered all our questions. We were surprised to be on th side of a mountain but our four wheel drive was handy plus 15 minute drive into Harpers Ferry was nice so it was quiet and peaceful. Lots of deer to watch!! Easy to relax!! Our only suggestion would be a small dresser maybe under thevTV and few more hooks for clothing since there is no closet. The kichen, bath and sleeping area were good. „We had such a a lovely time here exploring local trails and parks. The town is so cute, and this location was perfect. It's a quiet street, a lovely home, and within walking distance to a park with a playground. Our two toddlers had a blast and we enjoyed our weekend getaway. “

„We had a wonderful time in Frederick, Maryland. The house is lovely & clean. It’s very close to nice restaurants & shopping. It’s also conveniently located close to Gettysburg, PA. We didn’t bring our doggie, but it is pet/friendly, & has everything you could need like home. “

„This is a beautiful home in a secluded neighborhood with access to the Potomac River. The house is about 10 minutes from all of the things you would want to do in the Harper’s Ferry Historic area. The house is furnished and decorated very nicely and the kitchen has everything you will need for preparing & serving meals. It is a very peaceful location with lots of deer and opportunities to relax. “

„Great location to go kayaking, rafting or tubing. Very convenient to Harper's Ferry Historical Park. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of friendly deer. Beautiful view from the back deck and the perfect place for our 2 dogs.John was very accommodating and responsive. Beds were comfortable and the young adults enjoyed their space in the basement to hang out, watch TV, play video games or exercise.Would stay again.“

„Very clean place, brand new kitchen counters and decor. Great location right on Market Street, with a nice walk to Carroll Creek Park in the heart of Frederick. A nearby highlight for us (1-1/2 block walk) was Gravel & Grind, a combo shop where we rented bikes and got lunch and coffee!“

„Awesome weekend. Host was terrific and attentive to our needs. The host even dropped off fresh vegetables from his garden for us which were delicious. Deck is great for relaxing and watching the ducks swim in the river. “

"Klimaanlagen vorm Fenster haben auch im 6. Stock noch für eine Geräuschatmosphäre wie im Berliner U-Bahnschacht gesorgt. Die Wände können nur aus Papier bestehen, so laut wie ich meine Nachbarn gehört habe. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und geräumig. Die Fenster wurden seit Jahren nicht gereinigt. Man kann Grade noch so rausgucken. Jedoch sollte hier niemand ein Zimmer beziehen der auch mal Ruhe haben möchte. Mein Zimmer lag dabei schon zur Innenhofseite. Das Angebot an Lebensmitteln und Getränken war sehr Mau und super teuer. Positiv war, dass es einen warmen Nusskeks zur Begrüßung gab und das Personal sehr freundlich und pfiffig war."
