„Great and very helpful host who knew the area well. The cabin was nice and clean, quiet, cozy and had all the amenities we needed. Definitely appreciated the free washer/dryer and had fun playing the old school games :) Looking forward to staying again the next time we visit Acadia. “

„Cool cabin in the woods. Enjoyed our stay. So close to Bar Harbor and to Acadia National Park. The cabin had everything we needed (items you can't bring when you fly to the destination), so we appreciated that. Only suggestion would be to update the towels and have more of them. They are thin and worn.We had a great time and would highly suggest this cabin!“

„We had a fantastic time. The view of the river is unbeatable. We loved drinking coffee on the deck and watching the wildlife (Bald Eagles, gulls, and seals). I never felt like I had to worry about my dog barking or doing normal dog things.The cabin is very clean, has everything you need and continently located near stores, restaurants, and Bar Harbor. Host is very kind and communicative.“

„We will tell you the pictures didn’t do the place justice. We enjoyed it so much. If there is anything that was a negative it would be the road noise was noticeable at times and no place to hang anything except a couple hooks on the door not one closet“

„the house is beautiful, deer and other wild animals on the property. loved the wood stove. restaurants and shopping in Bar Harbor was a short ride. would rent again“

„The cottage was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable, We really enjoyed and made good use of the fire pit. It was all set up and ready to light. Southwest Harbor is my favorite place to stay on the island. It is much less touristy than Bar Harbor but still has some good dining options as well as a nice coffee shop. We had a great stay.“

„Property was clean, quiet and well maintained. Location is outstanding for exploring Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Morning coffee on the cove was a stellar experience. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for us. Highly recommend. “

„This was a great place to stay for our little family while visiting the Bar Harbor/ Acadia area. The cabin was comfy and more than enough room for a family of 3. Everything was stocked well, very clean and well thought through with renters in mind. Both Bar Harbor and Acadia were about 10 minutes away and easy to get in and out of. The hike from the cabin was a perfect way to go see the sunset. Would absolutely stay again if we are in the area! “

„The cabin is close to Acadia National Park in Manset. It is very cozy inside and out. The bedroom, in particular, is nice and cozy and a great retreat after a long day of hiking. The kitchen is also very well equipped, and we were able to cook great meals. There are little signs everywhere explaining how everything works. That was very helpful. „Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. Was forced to find a different room last minute because the host was completely non responsive to multiple Messages and attempts to reach them. Only plus is that ...

„This cottage was a pleasant change from the bustle of Bar Harbor. Although its small and cozy, it had what we needed for a short term stay. Barring a few check-in inconveniences, it was comfortable and we especially enjoyed the firepit that we spent time at after a long Acadia Park hiking adventure.“

„This place was absolutely perfect. The cabin is tucked away off the main road so you have privacy but a short drive to Bar Harbor and many Acadia sites. The bedrooms are big with cozy beds. Two full bathrooms was great for our 9 person group of adults and kids. The kids favorite was the loft space with two sun chairs and a view. "Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled. We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids. The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits. Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."

"Die Zimmer sind veraltet und extrem ringhörig. Das Bett war extrem umbequem. Es gibt in der nähe kein Frühstücksangebot. Das Restaurant vom Hotel hat zwar ab 8 Uhr geöffnet es wird aber auch beim Frühstück die gleiche Karte wie beim Abendessen angeboten. Das Abendessen war gut jedoch schliesst das Restaurant bereits um 20 Uhr."
