„The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again.“

„The house is kept beautifully clean. Views from it are mind blowingly fabulous. Needs more hanging space in the bathroom and unfortunately there was a smashed window covered in cardboard in the front hall that I was not informed about. „This is our second visit to Three Peaks cottage and it was just as good as our first. Lovely and clean with a well appointed kitchen and beautiful location! The views from the garden are spectacular but if you're too tired from a day on the fells to climb the garden steps then the views from the lounge are just as good. „The house was very comfortable and had everything you would require beds were comfortable and showers were great. It was a short distance to Keswick if you like to walk. The pub over the road was a bonus a 5 minute walk. Parking at the property was also great as you didn’t need to take the car anywhere as long as you are fit enough to walk. We have in fact booked again for next year.“

„We went as a four and stayed at Barf cottage, for a long weekend, the cottage was lovely, beds very comfy and found it lovely and warm! Easy access to Keswick. Lots of cutlery and pots and pans , the only criticism would be it would have been nice to have a little cupboard essentials ie: oil, vinegar, foil, matches for fire and cleaning essentials so people can clean the cottage if needed. "The historic building is fabulous, the atmosphere great, it's the pole position in Windermere, great view on the lake. I wonder if it is necessary that during the summer season the building is under construction. With scaffoldings in front of the windows, some parts of the building beside the entrance in bad condition, and even a corridor we had to pass everyday was stuffed with furniture, cardboard boxes ... This is not the atmosphere for holidays. Due to repairs on some wires, the internet connection broke down every night. The location is great, but there's some work to do to bring it back to its standard. "
