I wanted to like this place, but it fell short in a few key areas. The room was clean overall, but the floor felt sticky, which immediately threw things off. There was also about a 2-inch soft spot or hole in the floor that noticeably sank when you stepped on it, which was concerning.
The elevator looked like it had seen better days too. One side of the door was normal, while the other looked like exposed glue or plaster, like it had lost its backing at some point.
The biggest disappointment was the amenities. I specifically booked this hotel for the indoor pool and hot tub, and neither were available during my entire stay. That really should be clearly stated on booking sites. If those amenities matter to you, I’d definitely recommend calling ahead to confirm they’re actually open.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly, helpful, and very apologetic about the issues, which I appreciated.
Breakfast, unfortunately, didn’t make up for anything. The eggs were dried out from sitting too long, and by Monday morning there wasn’t even any bacon left to be put out.
Between the closed amenities, underwhelming breakfast, and the condition of the room, it didn’t feel worth the ~$140 per night. I wouldn’t stay here again at that price.
