„A really great stay, check in was smooth mid afternoon, superior room was fine with a fantastic super king bed and huge bathroom. We had supper in the bar, good food and drinks in a busy pub setting, a nice buzz and big shout out to Lewis and Sam who were so friendly and professional, a great team. Breakfast was really good, again in the bar with plenty of choices cooked to order as well as a small buffet. We will definitely return again!“

„Strange Experience. We tried to cancel one night and add another night but the hotel refused because it would be in the hands of expedia to make such a decision. Expedia said it's in the hand of the hotel. We asked Expedia twice and they reconfirmed that the owner didn't want to show any flexibility. That was weird. „When we arrived the doors to both bedrooms were closed. Upon opening the door into the main bedroom there was a disgusting very strong smell. It stayed for our entire 3 night stay but not as distinct as when I first opened the door. Other than that we had a lovely stay. „This property is wonderful. The property is brand new/recently renovated and this is apparent as soon as you step inside the front door. All fixtures and fittings are of good quality and the charm of the original building such as exposed beams have all been kept. It is in a quiet location with stunning walks and trails on your doorstep but the village is only a 10 minute walk. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily come back ourselves.“

Keinesfalls 4* Hotel - maximal 2* Hotel
"Hotel Zimmer ist unter Erde gelegen. Die Teppich riecht nach uralte Keller. Der Raum ist mit einem E-Radiator geheizt, der auf einer Ecke gestanden ist!! So etwas habe ich nicht mal in 2* gesehen. Für das Gym Nutzen muss man extra zur Rezeption zu gehen um auf ein Buch manuell zu eintragen, weil das Zutritt System nicht funktioniert hat. All dies hätte ich keine Probleme gehabt wenn das Hotel ein 2* Hotel wäre. Ich hatte in Vergangenheit über 500 Übernachtungen (3-5 Sterne Hotels) weltweit gebucht und hatte nie so einen schlechten Zimmer gehabt, nicht mal im 3* Hotel! "
