Only drawback is more structural as there seems to be subsidence (or similar) and this causes the shower to overflow onto the floor and out of the tray (seems it is leaning to the door and not going down the drain. „We had a fantastic stay! The room was lovely with high end furnishings and facilities and large enough for our family of four. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food at the pub was delicious and the animals were a particular highlight for our children as well, especially Ronnie and Reggie, the talking parrots. „Quite remote. Staff gave us free left over curry which was very nice. Beverage options are vast. About a 30 minute drive from pen y fan. Only had WiFi in the main rooms though. No signal or WiFi in the room we were in. We only stayed for one night so it didn’t matter for us. cheap and cheerful. “

„Lovely house in a nice location. A river at the back wirh a field of sheep to overlook. It is in a small and very quiet estate. We did not hear anyone. All we could hear was the river. The house is all you need for a stay, clean, well equipped, good communucation. Parking at the front. There were 5 of us , 2 adults and 3 children, 13, 10 & 7. We were more then comfortable with pleanty of space. Good cooking facilities and pleanty of storage space “

„I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). “

"Hotel was ok, room for three people with luggage a bit on the small side. Bathroom the same. All in all though great location, easy to walk to all the restaurants and shops. Parking in the station NCP just around the corner."
