„This chalet is just perfect, everything about the stay I could't fault. As it is the only chalet on the property you get complete privacy and your own field for activities with a lovely pond to walk around too. The lack of wifi is actually amazing and feels like a real getaway. The hot tub and firepit kept us entertained all evening anyway! „New management has made many upgrades to the property. This was the first time I visited, so I didn't miss the old quirks; I found the place delightful. The Snug is a lovely lounge with wood-burning fire that was great for a cold night. I'm sure the outside tables would be lovely in warm weather. The location right next to the footbridge is charming. I stayed in room 2; the bathroom was a bit small and awkward, but I understand they have to work with the structure that's there.“
