Welcome to our spacious, opulent, yet oh-so-cozy, mountain home affectionally named “The Luxurious Escape". Enjoy remote tranquility on 38 private acres completely removed from the hustle and bustle of the everyday and yet only minutes from downtown Fraser, Winter Park, and Tabernash for quaint local shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Also, easy access to Grand County and Rt 40; the gateway to year-round adventure, including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and hot springs.
As you drive up to the Escape you will be taken away by the western style architecture, surrounded by the Rocky Mountain Forest. When you enter the house, the tall ceilings of the spacious living and dining area and a two-sided gas fireplace let you know that you are entering a home where great memories will be made.
The chef’s kitchen is exceptionally well-stocked with all appliances, service ware, and cutlery. Enjoy coffee by the carafe or the pod. After meals, spill into the living room to read a book, play a game, or watch a movie.
This beautiful home has four bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and 2 half baths. The primary bedroom, with its ensuite bath, is secluded and very spacious, offering both a private sitting area and a private patio.
There is plenty to keep you entertained here! Our guests rave about the game room with ping pong table and a whole slew of games to play, comfy seating and TV viewing area, and an adjacent wet bar.
Ample storage in the attached garage and mudroom means there is plenty of space for your adventure gear and personal belongings, plus a full-size washer and dryer to keep everything fresh.
A dedicated workspace big enough for 2 means you won't fall behind with work or school and allows for an enviable background for your next Zoom meeting.
This home's floor plan is perfect for larger families, multi-families, wedding parties, and small company/corporate retreats.

Don’t want to be inside? Perfect! Two separate decks and two private patios offer outdoor living spaces that includes comfy seating and unique views. Drink your morning coffee, enjoy mealtime outside, or soak in the scenery with a nice glass of wine or local craft beer after a full day of skiing or exploring.
In the back of the home is a deck with ample seating to enjoy the sights, sounds, and fresh air of the surrounding forest. Moose, deer, hummingbirds, and chipmunks are regulars with occasional visits from bobcats and elk!
A private 8-person hot tub is also located directly behind the house; surrounded by a stone patio with heated walkway so you can enjoy breathtaking forest views or a relaxing soak even in the snowy season.
Just off the kitchen is a screened in sitting area with a wood fireplace and cozy wickers chairs.

Although The Luxurious Escape is located on a county-maintained road, it is required that guests have an All-wheel drive (AWD) or 4-wheel drive vehicle from October 1st through April 30th. Please review the weather forecast as the mountains receive a lot of snowstorms.

Even more adventure can be found in nearby Winter Park- just a short drive from the Escape. It is a picturesque mountain town in the Rockies where you can ski and snow board in the winter and bike, fish white water raft, horseback ride and hike in the summer. Winter Park is well known for the beautiful scenery, peacefulness, and if you love wine, art, music, or theater, this small town is perfect for you!
Hot Sulphur Springs is located about 35 minutes from the Escape. Invigorate yourself with a soak in the natural sulfur spring.
