Love Casa Blanca but unit needs some TLC
This was our second stay at Casa Blanca, different unit. The property, beach, pool, staff and residents/guests are always so pleasant. We can't say enough about the gentlemen who monitored the entrance. They always checked our car dash for the parking pass and made us feel they were looking out to keep the Casa Blanca guests safe.
The unit we stayed in this time was nice. Clean, comfortable and in good operating order; however, cosmetically there is room for improvement. Many of the lightbulbs were burnt out throughout the unit. The 'switched outlets' were not working. And yes, we tried every iteration of bulbs, was it a three-way switch, was the lamp on, etc. One of the vertical blind slats was missing, we found it coiled up behind the TV stand. The family room furniture looked fine but was very uncomfortable and the area rug was very dirty. One of the twin beds was extremely squeaky and crooked. There was also some damage to walls and a few items in the kitchen. While these things did not ruin our trip we were careful to document these things so not to be charged/blamed for the damages. And when you pay a lot for 6 days you kind of want things to be in best order and comfortable.
Not saying we won't go back, but this stay was definitely a little 'less than' our first visit.
Property, beach and pool were just as inviting and enjoyable as the first visit. Casa Blanca is definitely a little gem to be enjoyed!
