The Space:
Dream Mezzanine is a cozy two-level unit with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The lower level has a living room, kitchen, and dining area, while the upper level features a bedroom with a queen bed and a private bathroom. Dream Mezzanine also features a furnished outdoor terrace, providing a relaxing space to enjoy the fresh air and unwind after a day of exploring.
Located in the heart of Isla Verde, this one-bedroom unit is just a 5-10 minute walk from the beautiful Isla Verde Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico and arguably the best urban beach in the Caribbean. The area is filled with great restaurants, bars, and cafes, offering a variety of options from local Puerto Rican food to international dishes.
The studio is also just a 5-minute drive from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, making it super convenient for travelers. Plus, it includes on-site parking for added ease.
PLEASE NOTE: We manage two additional units in this building—there are three-bedroom units. If you have a larger group and are interested in renting one of these units as well, please let us know, and we would be happy to send you the listing links.
LIVING AREAS
The first level of Dream Mezzanine features a welcoming living area with a comfortable sofa, a small dining table, a flat-screen TV, and vibrant Puerto Rican-inspired wall art that adds a local touch to the space.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The bedroom, located on the second level, has a queen bed, full body mirror and an ensuite bathroom with shower. The windows have blackout window treatments.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
The kitchen at Dream Mezzanine is fully equipped with a stovetop, full-sized fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It includes all the essentials for an extended stay, such as pots, pans, utensils, silverware, and cups, making it easy to prepare and enjoy meals during your visit.
PARKING
The apartment includes parking for one vehicle.
LOCATION
Dream Mezzanine is located walking distance from the Isla Verde Beach. This is arguably the best urban beach in the Caribbean. The beach is 1.5 miles long and the Isla Verde strip has a long list of dining and nightlife options. The apartment is 5 minutes from the airport and has car rentals, supermarkets, a Walgreens, and multiple hotels and Casinos all within a short distance. There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:
Chill at the beach! It is one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you are staying at Dream Mezzanine. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and coolers for a long day at the beach.
Lunch or dinner at La Placita de Santurce; a local market with 20+ restaurants and awesome nightlife. We love Santaella restaurant; a local cuisine with a modern approach located in La Placita.
Shop at The Mall of San Juan. This brand new mall is a 10-minute drive from the apartment and has excellent shops and dining options.
Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 30-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.
Spend a day in Old San Juan. Luna Suite at ESJ is a 15 min drive away from the oldest city in all of the US. There is a lot of history to be seen and great food and drinks to savor.
Other Things to Note:
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase. Disclaimer: we are not associated with any travel insurance companies.
AMENITIES
West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs, and an ice cooler.
West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel-size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.
HOUSE RULES
Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 2 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, no parties or noisy activities during these hours
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess, stained towels/linens will be charged.
Subletting not allowed
Do not hang towels from the balcony or windows
