Quirky
This property is a bit quirky. We used it as a base of operation for our family visit to Rome, and it served the purpose, but it seems better configured as a place for independent travelers seeking a room with a shared kitchen area.
Pros: Very easy access to Vatican City; the apartment is very near the entrance to the Vatican Museum entrance. Nearby grocery stores, restaurants, gelato shops and the like. Proximity to the (Cipro) train station. Each room has an en-suite bathroom.
Cons: Very small kitchen with seating for only 4. No coffee pot (at time of our visit). No common living area aside from the small kitchen. (We pulled chairs from the bedrooms to gather in the small kitchen area for family time.)
Things to be aware of: Steep steps between apartment and train station, as well as stairs to navigate in the apartment complex between the street and the apartment. Odd step up-down inside the apartment in the hallway and kitchen area (fall risk). One of the showers (back bedroom) is very small.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Rome, but we’d only rate this property as okay.
