The island is wonderful, everyone is friendly, the villas are neat, clean, the food in restaurant is very expensive. Lack of animation, the open bar on the beach is closed, there is no waiter. No type of entertainment is offered within the hotel. The first two days are pleasant silence and peace, but already on the third day it lacks a little liveliness. Mosquitoes are a separate story. If someone is coming, let them provide themselves with the best protection against mosquitoes. You must visit the nearby Moyene island with its turtles.

We have stayed at several nice properties in our travels and this is by far one of the best. Staff and amenities are miles better than the four seasons where you are treated as just another guest. At the Maia, the staff go out of their way to get to know you, recommend things to do and cater to your every need. With 30 villas you get tailored attention and never feel like a number or a transaction. Food is outstanding!

"I travelled solo to the Seychelles and stayed at the Villas de Jardins. Pemma was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, and helped to arrange transport for me if needed, around the island. She also purchased cupcakes and chocolate for all of the guests ..."
