„The property is a 1842 inn. The welcoming lobby with a fireplace and bar (no service) set up is a great place to sit so you are not locked in the room, especially in the cold weather. We had the inn to ourselves as it was off season. (Two colleagues attending a conference in a closeby town) I am sure it is lovely in the summer with several places to sit and enjoy the outside as well as a short walk to the beautiful shore of Lake Huron! „The rooms are clean, plenty of towels. There are four bedrooms upstairs with their own en suite bathroom. There are two other rooms upstairs with a shared bathroom all very comfortable. there is another bedroom on the main floor that looks like it was once a large dining room. They can sleep a bunch of kids, but there’s no bathroom. They need to walk upstairs. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. Great outdoor fireplace with firewood supplied.
