Needs a lot of work before being eligible to host
We did not love anything about this property. In fact, our stay was so tarnished by the following: Broken toilet, intolerable smell, poor interactions and zero follow through with Vacasa staff that we saved ourselves the additional headache and vacated the premises upon confirming that absolutely nothing was being done to handle our situation and frustrations.We are a family of 4 with small children and by the morning of our first day, the toilet was both running constantly, and then the handle didn't work at all. The only way to flush the toilet was to lift the lid off the back and reach in to grab the handle lever. Not a big deal if addressed promptly, but it was not. The entire front living room/kitchen has a VERY unpleasant odor, that when I addressed with Vacasa was instructed to "ensure the burners on the stove are off". The neighbors, whom our children played with the first and last morning of our stay explained that the property has had severe water/flooding issues. The odor was musty and likely mold as it was not throughout the entirety of the home, but likely concentrated where there was the most damage historically.The home has holes, exposed wires and several areas that are simply unfinished and unloved. We did not feel comfortable cooking/entertaining in the home, which was the point of our decision to rent a home vs stay in a B&B. We left the property after these issues, combined with very poor if non-existent customer service whom did not refund us fully
