„What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. I wish we had booked more than one night so we could have taken advantage of the amenities, like the kayaking and boat tour. It rained the one night we were there, so we didn't get to do either. The room was absolutely incredible and very clean. It had a whirlpool tub, gas fireplace, and a view of the lake. „We were so pleased with this property for our getaway to Deep Creek. We picked it based on the game room and theater, knowing our kids would really enjoy that part of it. But the pond outside was an added bonus! The kids loved fishing in it from sun up to sun down. It's conveniently located to several attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. A quick drive away from Swallow Falls and Garrett County State Park, with fantastic hiking options.The house has some wear, but it was nothing that ...

„The Owl’s nest property is beautifully decorated with a unique walking path. The beds were very comfortable and the house was well stocked with everything you could need. Communication with the owners was excellent. They provided detailed info on the surrounding area’s restaurants, parks and other amenities. We met the hosts upon arrival and they could not have been more helpful.“

The only suggestions would be 1) to have a mobile heater in the basement as that floor is colder than the rest of the house and 2) to have better blinds.We stayed in April and it was much colder than we expected. We all stayed in the basement and had to use extra blankets.P.S. 10 am check out is too early for my taste. Especially if you have small kids. Luckily, check out list is not as onerous as in some other places“
