“This is absolutely the best home we have stayed at in Lake Arrowhead.” - Amber, 5-Star Review
Tranquil. Private. Restful. Beautiful.
This is how guests describe their stay at Cedar Circle, our bespoke two-story cabin in the pines. Built in 1938, it’s a masterwork tailor-made for those who seek the peace and serenity of a spacious mountain getaway, yet appreciate the modern touches that elevate their experience and redefine sumptuous.
The heart of the cabin is the beautifully decorated living room, and it’s centerpiece is the wood burning fireplace with original brick that stretches from the hearth to the second floor ceiling. It’s been updated with convenient gas igniter to make it easy to add the glow and warmth of a crackling fire anytime the mood strikes. There are cozy club chairs, a knotty pine niche for two with built-in high back seating and table, rich woodwork, period furnishings, antiques, and enchanting paintings.
Speaking of mood…perhaps the most interesting feature of all is the working player piano. It fills the cabin with delightful ambiance, and is the perfect way to enrich your experience and enhance your enjoyment.
Adjacent to the living room is a well-appointed office / game room with built-in pine desk and window seat / twin bed, board games and cards, plenty of storage, and privacy curtains, giving your group ample space to spread out and enjoy, and privacy for quiet time.
The kitchen has been fully updated with Viking gas stove and oven, Miele appliances, dishwasher, and everything you need to craft simple meals or elegant dinners. There’s a large walk-in pantry, and the adjacent dining room offers ample seating at two lovely hardwood tables with wood and leather chairs and forest views.
Cedar Circle comfortably sleeps 6. And we do mean comfortably! There are 3 private bedrooms with deluxe king- and queen-sized beds, a twin bed in the upstairs loft, and another in the downstairs office. Each features posh linens for a restful slumber.
Downstairs is a large full bath with whirlpool tub and shower, and upstairs is a roomy full bath with wonderful steam shower. Both include heated tile floors for added comfort.
So many modern touches are found throughout Cedar Circle it would be easy to forget you’re in an historic lakeside mountain cabin. There’s high speed Wifi, central heat and air conditioning, Whirlpool washer and dryer, high capacity water heater, and a projection system in the downstairs bedroom with access to streaming services and premium sports channels. Movie night is one bowl of popcorn away!
Step outside onto the spacious deck and you’re instantly transported to a mature forest of pines, freshly scented mountain air, and peek-a-boo views of Lake Arrowhead. There’s plenty of seating, an oversized table that makes dining al fresco a true pleasure, and a large propane BBQ for outdoor grilling. Enjoy morning coffee as the songbirds gently serenade you, or sip a fine wine as the sun slips below the horizon and countless stars begin to awaken in the cobalt sky.
There’s plenty to do without going far. Drifting through our beautiful and tranquil neighborhood is a relaxing treat for your senses. The brewpub is just two minutes away on foot, and the quick walk to Lake Arrowhead Village offers a wide range of shopping, dining, live music, and entertainment options. For those who want a more indulgent experience the Spa of the Pines offers a full menu of personal treatments.
When snow has fallen, easy sledding is available for your youngest travelers right behind the cabin. For those who are more adventurous, skiing is close by at Snow Valley (25 minute drive) and Snow Summit (50 minute drive).

As we are nestled into the cozy pines, our furniture is covered for protection (when not in use) and our deck is often showered with needles (and in winter, occasionally with snow). We have a leaf blower for your use to make cleanup easier but should you wish to simplify your stay, we can hire someone to prepare the deck for your arrival for an additional $50. Due to previous experience with our cushions please cover furniture upon your departure. One furry friend may be allowed, if approved, we ask $100 per stay non-refundable pet fee.
